If we were having brunch today, you'd laugh at how much I am groaning with every single movement. Yesterday I ran 11 miles in the glorious fall weather we finally are seeing. It was so awesome to run and not sweat through all my clothes in the first 10 minutes. And be able to breathe. I am really proud of my run since I held under 10 minute miles. I know that's still not fast, but considering last time I attempted high mileage races in college, I was running them a minute per mile slower, I am amazed at my improvement.
If we were having brunch today, I'd tell you how insane my level of liking football is this year. I don't even know myself. And it's not even just college (which is my first football…love) this year. I've been so into NFL this year thanks to my fantasy team. Seriously, I don't even know myself.
If we were having brunch today, I'd tell you I'm going to the outlet malls and Ikea this weekend and my bank account will not be happy. My fall wardrobe and house will be quite happy though! I can't wait to get the final touches for the office (yes, still) and have some fun with the guest room. I can probably wait to try on jeans though.
If we were having brunch today, I'd tell you that while I love my library and I love working for my library and I love everything it stands for and does in the community…I get just as annoyed as everyone else when my holds take forever. I finished my book last night and I have nothing to read until my next book comes in tomorrow. In the words of Liz Lemon: NERD RAGE!
If we were having brunch today, I'd tell you I'm having a family dinner next week and of course, I am responsible for dessert. And whoa, how hard is it to choose a pumpkin dessert? There are so. many. options. But I found the perfect one. It involves pumpkin, bourbon, and bread pudding. Holy yum, guys, holy yum.
What's going on with you today?
